Fibromyalgia Case Studies 2026 - 2027
I am currently undertaking case studies using foot reflexology with people who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
The purpose of reflexology is to relieve stress. The feet have thousands of nerve membranes that act as electrical energy circuits. The intention of reflexology is to soothe the nerves and allow for more efficient neurological connections throughout the body and the brain.
I am undertaking these case studies to better understand if reflexology has a positive effect on reducing the symptoms of fibromyalgia.
The results of the case studies will be for the use in my own practice.
Participants would be required to:
- Attend 1-hour reflexology sessions on a fortnightly basis at my Titirangi clinic (the are no fees attached to the sessions).
- Provide a baseline description of symptoms at the start of the study.
- Provide feedback throughout the study duration on any changes to symptoms.
- Optional: a final written assessment of their reflexology experience having any impact on the fibromyalgia symptoms.
If you are interested in taking part in this series of case studies and would like more information, please email me:
